Rocky’s Ace Hardware, a family-owned business with neighborhood-based stores in seven states, has announced the recent hire of Kim Lynch as director of marketing and advertising. Lynch will develop strategic brand and product direction, based upon customer trends and needs, to enhance the company’s marketplace position.
“We’re excited to have Kim join our senior management team,” said Rocky’s Ace Hardware President, Rocco Falcone. “We sought a candidate with stellar experience and skills to helm the marketing initiatives that will expand our reach and enhance our customer’s experience. Kim’s background and qualifications made her the obvious choice for this crucial role.”
With the mission to provide customers with the ultimate service experience, Rocky’s appoints Lynch, who brings over 20 years of success in various marketing roles in Massachusetts and Connecticut. For six years, Lynch coordinated marketing functions for PeoplesBank in Holyoke as a project manager for several department initiatives. She served as liaison between marketing and the bank’s branches.
As marketing specialist and project manager at Horizon Solutions, an electrical distributor also based in Holyoke, Lynch managed all marketing communication projects, major trade show events, developed marketing campaigns and managed vendor coop marketing funds as well.
Most recently, as director of marketing at Hampden Zimmerman and Electrical Wholesalers (EW), two electrical distributors based in Springfield and Middletown, Connecticut, Lynch led the integrated marketing and communications projects and programs for both companies simultaneously. She managed the marketing departments and worked closely with branch managers, sales department heads and outside vendors on advertisements, promotions and customer events. Lynch was responsible for launching a new digital TV marketing platform for all 30 branch locations.
Falcone furthered, “With her excellent history of professional achievements, we’re thrilled to have Kim join the Rocky’s team, and to guide our marketing initiatives into the future.”
