Beloved Giant Slide returns alongside Rocky’s retail spots featuring top brands, collectibles and family fun
Rocky’s Ace Hardware is bringing big fun and unique shopping to The Big E as the sponsor of the iconic Giant Slide and two all-new retail setups packed with must-see products, collectibles and family favorites.
Since 1969, the Giant Slide has been one of The Big E’s most beloved attractions. Towering 46-feet tall and stretching 135-feet long, the bright yellow slide offers fast-paced thrills and nostalgic fun for fairgoers of all ages. Visitors grab a burlap sack, climb to the top and glide down this timeless ride, creating memories that last a lifetime. The Giant Slide is located behind the Better Living Center, next to The Big Top circus tent.
This year, Rocky’s is expanding the fun with two retail spots at The Big E:
- The Giant Slide Tent – Located right alongside the slide, this tent will feature highlights like sports trading cards, LEGO sets, Yeti and Owala drinkware, petting zoo plush and a rotating lineup of unique hardware and lifestyle items. From Carhartt clothing to veteran-supporting Spec Ops tools, there’s something for every shopper. (Open daily 10 a.m.–8 p.m.)
- Better Living Center Booth – Inside one of The Big E’s most popular shopping destinations, Rocky’s booth will showcase even more top brands, collectibles and unique finds including Traeger wood pellet grills, Ooni pizza ovens and Carhart workwear.
“This year, we’re excited to bring the thrill of the Giant Slide plus the chance to shop our two retail spots, discover great products and even find rare trading cards,” said Rocco Falcone, president of Rocky’s Ace Hardware. “It’s all about creating fun, memorable experiences for the whole family.”
Rocky’s presence at The Big E also coincides with the company’s annual Pet Round-up campaign, where customers can choose to round up their purchases and donate the difference to support a local animal shelter.
