Rocky’s Receives a Lifesaver Award for Contributions to Boston Children’s Hospital
Back in December, Boston Children’s Hospital hosted their annual “Miracle Mixer.” During this 30-minute webinar they brought together all of their partners and programs to celebrate all that was accomplished that year. Boston Children’s Hospital honors 4 partners with a “Lifesaver Award.”
The award is given annually to recognize donors not only for their contributions to the hospital, but for their passion for the cause. This year, Rocky’s Ace Hardware was a Lifesaver Award recipient!
In 2021, 19 Rocky’s Ace Hardware locations donated funds to the Boston Children’s Hospital during quarterly fundraisers. In an effort to increase support for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, we hosted several Round-Up campaigns throughout the year. For each campaign, we asked our customers to round-up their total at the registers. 100% of the leftover change was donated to area hospitals. We also hosted our annual Bucket Sale in August where customers were able to buy a $5 CMN bucket to fill with products with 20% off. Each of our fundraisers ended in success.
Ultimately, as we accept our recognition for the Lifesaver Award, we want to thank our Eastern Mass and New Hampshire communities for their support and donations year after year. As a family-owned business, our neighbors represent our highest values and we are always proud to give back in any way possible.
