Finish your Halloween decorating with Krylon Fusion. This All-In-One Paint and Primer comes with 5X stronger adhesion to bring color to your home that lasts well beyond the holiday season. We’re gonna teach you how you can enhance the look of your Jack-O-Lanterns with Krylon Fusion All-In-One Spray Paint.

To Begin

Before you begin, make sure that you prep your station for spray painting. Do this by moving setting up outdoors or in a well ventilated area with a large open space. Cover a flat surface, floor or stand, with a drop cloth or tarp to protect from overspray.

If you must work inside, make sure to remove any items that you don’t wish to get paint on as far away as you can from your working area and cover any walls that may come in contact with excess spray. Make sure to ventilate your area by opening all windows and doors, use a fan to circulate aerosol emissions to open passageways and wear a painting mask for respiratory protection.

Painting Your Jack-O-Lantern with Krylon Fusion

  1. Once you’ve selected your pumpkin, place it on a covered, steady, flat surface. To get the best look, clean off any excess dirt prior to painting with water and allow to dry.
  2. Before spraying, shake your Krylon Fusion can for at 1 minute.
  3. Spray your pumpkin from top to bottom, being careful not to touch any wet surfaces. Wait 1 minute to allow your pumpkin to dry and then recoat as you feel necessary to get your desired look.
  4. Wait 1 hour for your paint to set before your carving your pumpkin.

If painting with multiple colors on your pumpkin, use painter’s tape to section off your pumpkin in advance; cover the eyes, nose and mouth. Allow 1 hour for the first color to set before using painters tape to section off for the second color. Wait another hour before removing painters tape.

Apply these steps for all of your holiday spray painting.
